New Appliances = Happiness!
So this has nothing to do with my blog, per se, but since both will enhance my ability to cook and eat clean, I am totally sharing my excitement with all of you, that we got a new stove and fridge this weekend!
I think this means I am officially old: that I’m yapping about kitchen appliances the way I used to yap about hot jeans or a fabulous bag or lip gloss. But I digress …
We have needed a stove for a long time — the one that came with our house when we bought it was about 30 years old, no joke. After one mishap with a near-gas-leak earlier this winter, we started browsing, and finally found one we loved.
My only criteria was I wanted a stainless stove and fridge to upgrade/modernize our kitchen; if we were going to spend the money, I wanted it to be what we wanted. (more…)
