Good Read: Judith Warner
I found Judith Warner’s column in yesterday’s New York Times to be noteworthy and relevant here on my blog, so I’m sharing it today.
Take a peek at “Not-So-Great Expectations”.
Thoughts? It was very fitting in conjunction with my blog entry today, seen below.

Words to My Younger Self
I’ve seen this done in a magazine before, but I was inspired to try it here and, in honor of the upcoming weekend (yea!), I hope you’ll join me in coming up with your own ideas, too.
If you could talk to yourself five or ten years ago, what would you say? Here’s what comes to mind for me. Enjoy!
I’d tell myself that no one but me will know if my underwear/socks drawer is organized.
I’d tell myself that I don’t need to pack twelve outfits for a weekend trip; four or five will do. Layers are even better.
I’d tell myself that it’s ok to not really love to drink; just because others enjoy it doesn’t mean I have to.
I’d tell myself that even after 9/11, I still don’t need to be at the airport three hours early. (I’m an anxious traveler, still!) (more…)
